Wilmington: Edit # 2

For my second edit to the Wikipedia, Wilmington, Delaware Article, I decided to create a shopping section. To the shopping section I added the following:

"Wilmington's location, being so very close to the Pennsylvania/ Delaware border results in it's malls and shopping centers with their tax free shopping being very popular among Pennsylvania residents.
Malls" ( sub heading)
"Wilmington is home to one shopping mall, The Concord Mall."

Job Interview: Edit # 2

For my second edit to the wikipedia, job interview article, I decided to add the following sentences to the process section:

"A candidate should follow up the interview with a thank you letter expressing their appreciation for the opportunity of meeting with the company representative. The thank you letter ensures that the candidate will stay fresh in the interviewer's mind."

Jig Saw Puzzle: Edit # 2

For my second edit to the wiki Jig Saw Puzzle article, I decided to alter one of the sentences in the Trivia Section. The original way the sentence read was as follows:
"It is possible to glue completed puzzles to a backing for permanent display."
Now, because of me the sentence goes like this, " It is possible to glue completed puzzles to a backing to be used as inexpensive, colorful, artwork for a finished basement or family room."

Trigeminal Neuralgia: Edit # 2

As I mentioned in an earlier post my mother was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a chronic pain disorder that causes those suffering from it to experience episodes of excruciating pain in their face. Trigeminal Neuralgia usually develops after age forty, however there have been cases of people as young as 3 years of age suffering with it.

Prior to my most recent wiki contribution, the Trigeminal Neuralgia article did not mention that the disorder can develop in children. It only said that, "It (Trigeminal Neuralgia) usually develops after the age of 40." To me this sentence gives no indication that people much, younger than 40 could get it. So I expanded on the sentence by adding "although there have been cases with patients being as young as three years of age". I feel this is an important addition because, if people are unaware that this disorder can form at a young age, misdiagnosis could occur.

An Experiment

For the remaining part of the semester our class will be conducting a search engine experiment. This experiment requires every student to link the word stiuqxela (alexquits backwords) to the Green bay packers website, as I have just done: stiuqxela. Stiqxela when entered into google currently returns zero results.
