Well I thought everyone reading this would be interested in knowing the purpose of my blog so as to know what to expect from future posts. And that is exactly what this post will do, satisfy your burning curiosity as to why am I, Julie Schreiber blogging.
I am enrolled in a class at the University of Delaware titled Information Technology Applications in Marketing. And as the name suggests the class is meant to provide marketing majors with a practical way of learning about the importance of different types of information technologies on marketing plans,strategies and decisions. One of the ways the class does this is by requiring every student to set up and maintain a blog, which will cover class content throughout the course. The blog was chosen because it is becoming a powerful marketing tool, is a safe way to be introduced to HTML and CSS, and is a great way to increase communication.
